  • 383,567 hectares, 32.02% of the State of Querétaro.
  • 70% is private property, 27% is communal or common land, and 3% is federal property.
  • 100,000 inhabitants in 638 communities in five municipalities.
  • Elevation range: 200 – 3160 meters above sea level.
  • Precipitation range: 350 – 2000 millimeters per year.

TROPICAL DECIDUOUS FOREST
Covering the Sierra Gorda’s lower parts and its deep canyons, these forests dominate the region
