Diploma in Sustainable Development: Didactic Tools for Climate Action
On November 22nd the second class of our Diploma in Sustainable Development: Didactic Tools for Climate Action in collaboration with the Tecnológico de Monterrey will begin its journey. This time we have 200 full scholarships for teachers and 80 scholarships for environmental education promoters that belong to an environmental network or NGO focused on Environment and/or Sustainable Development.

Dear World Leaders, an initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aims to mobilize citizens and encourage action on the climate crisis through video messages. We join and invite our allies to do the same to be heard at the next COP27 in Egypt.
Grand Prize with GLP Films ?
We won the Grand Prize and the Nature and Conservation category in the first Sustainability Storytelling Contest organized by GLP Films, a renowned content marketing agency. The Grand Prize consists of the production and distribution of an on-site, carbon neutral video by GLP and its partners.
A project is being carried out in three ejidos in the municipality of Peñamiller: Maguey Verde, El Pilón and Enramadas, to develop organizational and commercial capacities and generate added value in aromatic species of great economic value, including oregano, damiana, gobernadora and, in higher areas, piñón.
Grupo Ecológico Sierra Gorda is coordinating the intervention project in coordination with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the sustainable business development consultancy MinkaDev, the Commonland organization to revitalize communities and restore landscapes, and the Secretary of Sustainable Development of the State of Querétaro.

Did you know: bromeliads store water between their leaves that allow salamanders and tree frogs to reproduce and make their life in apartment-like shelters? This cloud forest is a true sanctuary of Imperial Bromeliads (Tillandsia imperialis) an endangered species, but now, they are duly protected alongside many others avoiding the sixth wave of extinction thanks to the custody of the World Land Trust.
